"Pal’s is an older hotel with a terrific ocean front location. The room was very small but well equipped. Clement was very helpful with getting us settled in and suggested a nice restaurant for us."

"Very quiet. Nice restaurant, delicious food. Wonderful staff very attentive. The only thing i think more deep cleaning of cabins the restroom and bedding. Enjoyed our stay!"

"If a person enjoys beautiful sunrises this is the place to be. If you are looking for a home away from home Kathy’s home has everything you need. This is a very well equipped home with all of he kitchen appliances you need including food processor, microwave, juicer, coffee makers and bbq. Although the home is air conditioned, we found that with the continual warm breeze off the sea it was rarely used. The ocean was very nice to swim in but one has to walk out a few hundred feet before the water gets deep enough to swim in. The shallowness is great for children though. One problem was the very rough road to get to the village for shopping. Whenever we had to head into Hopkins village (10 minutes away) one had to be patient with all the potholes. Janette, the property manager was always very responsive to any issues we had (which were few). Also, the neighbours who own the adjacent property, were friendly although we tried to respect their privacy. We would definitely stay at Kathy’s again if we return to Hopkins. "

"Hopkins Bay Resort is an exquisite property, one of the finest we have enjoyed in our travels. From check-in to departure, the staff elevated every experience. Rooms are beautiful, the setting breathtaking, the facilities and grounds wonderful, the dining a real pleasure. From our greeting by the ladies at the front desk and Cass at our welcome, to King and Amalda at the restaurant, everyone and everything about this resort makes us want to return again and again. "

"Can't say enough about how wonderful this little Hopkins gem is! Right on the beach and at the same time in the centre of a walkable village! Bought our fruits and veggies on the street, best coffee right next door, and several rustic beach restaurants within easy walking distance. We tried them all and enjoyed every meal. This is a real village, not a resort, so expect the sounds and friendly people of every day life. Don't forget to tip the gentleman who cleans and rakes the sand all the way from the bungalow to the water (keeps the sand flee population down) "

"The concierge service at the Parrot Cove is phenomenal. They bend over backwards, left right and sideways to make your experience fantastic. Please note they can’t control the weather. But what they have done, is gone through all the services in their area and weeded out the schiesters and kept those that produced. Chef Rob is an amazing artist of the culinary palette. There were several other amazing restaurants within walking distance. Next time we come to Hopkins, we for sure will be staying at Parrot Cove. Amazing service, check. Incredible food experiences, check. Clean, check. We were blessed!"
