"The Carlton is a wonderful hotel. The property looks very new. It’s is a busy part of town (isn’t everything in Bangkok the same though) very close to 2 big malls. Enough shopping and casual dining around. We had 2 Deluxe rooms and they were great. At checkin time, I asked the lady at the checkin counter about upgraded rooms. She said most rooms were about the same and suggested that an upgrade was not worth it. The beds, bathroom and decor is just like room pictures on the website. Spacious, new modern look and clean The pool area on the 10th floor is very relaxing with a view of the city. Large infinity pool, gym and separate steam, sauna rooms for men and women. I highly recommend trying out the buffet breakfast. Very good quality and variety of continental, Thai, Japanese and Chinese items on the menu. We enjoyed our 3 day stay thoroughly and would definitely stay here again "

"Super convenient to the airport. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Great lobby, good rooms. The main downside: check in takes forever. With just 3 parties in the queue it's a 10 min wait. "

"Great experience here. The staff was wonderful. Great rooftop bar and pool. Didn't use the spa but it looked nice. The entrance is off the main street that keeps the noise and crazy down. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed there for 2 nights about a week after the earthquake. Everything was great! We just love the easy access to the Terminal 21 shopping center! Its an enclosed bridge. You don't even have to go outside. The hotel breakfast is always excellent. Overall a great place to stay in Bangkok "

"Unique point was the location as Patong beach was just 2 mins walk. It’s very spacious and easy walkable to shopping etc. Staff was amazing with always smile. At the check in, the hospitality was great with free fresh fruit offered. We loved the hotel for everything. It’s great we booked it long before our travel as the booking was full nearly 1 month before. "
