"Simply the most relaxing situation one could imagine. Just a perfect blend of nature, farm edges (e.g. not a resort) but unreal food/wine. Just hanging out by the pool all day or walking vineyards or simply just "being" while the Tuscan sun rejuvenates your soul. It was a fantastic couple of days that was restorative and memorable."

"Pros:Best hotel hairdryer ever! Beautiful grounds and surroundings. Lovely pool and outdoor facilities if the weather had permitted....Lovely restaurant staff. Be prepared to walk outside a bit to the restaurant, pool, reception and parking. The shower was awkward. Very limited storage space for clothes, luggage, etc. No outlets for charging other than the bathroom. Only one pair of slippers for 2 guests. Basic toiletries. Overall, a gorgeous property. "When we arrived at the property we had so many questions about the area! The staff was helpful and answered all of our questions with great patience. We only stayed for 1 night, but wish we had booked for more nights. We toured Siena during the day, but came back to the property for a beautiful sunset and dinner. "This hotel is an absolute gem. They likely don’t need another glowing review, but I’ll happily give one. In addition to being perfectly situated—just distant enough from the throngs but still very, very close to everything—it’s gorgeous inside, with tons of old world charm, along with all the modern conveniences. The staff were so wonderful, making me reservations at two of the most incredible restaurants in town. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

"The manager Ada was amazing. We had fabulous communication from her, great restaurant ideas, she helped us with parking and the rental car. The property is very conveniently located. I would definitely stay there again."

"An absolutely gorgeous hotel which is convenient for exploring the city. The room was very comfortable, clean and a delight to stay in. The only downside, the walls seemed very thin, giving no insulation, so we could here theother guests in other rooms, was a bit of a distraction when we needed an early night!"

"This is a beautiful, but old building, with spacious rooms, a and high ceilings. But it is dark. Only one window that does not let in much light. So used our lights a lot. The property is in Trastevere, which is popular and busy, but our room was really quiet. The front desk/proprietor was extremely helpful in making a restaurant reservation and booking a car to the airport."

"Wonderful location!!! Everything within walking distance. Friendly staff, clean modern room. Shower needs repairing. Will definitely return to stay here. If you are driving to the hotel, It’s a ZTL zone so contact the hotel to make arrangements for your car to be garaged. Don’t need a car here. It is in the best location!!!"

Cascate del Diborrato - Parco fluviale dell'Elsa

Inside the residential area of Colle Val d'Elsa is a historic and natural landscape of enormous value thanks to the Elsa River which crosses the Val d'Elsa creating a unique territory. The river creates enchanting corners for hiking and observing: the engineering works for gathering water, the artifical canal system for carrying the water to the city, the caves. A particularly suggestive point is the Diborrato water falls, a 15m jump which is more than 10m deep, a sort of small lake where the locals used to go to cool off. Other places not to miss are the Grotta dell'Orso, the Conchina, the Masso Bianco, the Nicchia and the Spianata dei Falchi, each with its own particularities. This natural richness has been recognized with the institution of a protected area in the River Park of the Upper Val d'Elsa which includes the path of the river from the city of Colle Val d'Elsa which stretches from Ponte Santa Giulia to Ponte di Spugna and includes the Caldane, thermal springs which were known to the Etruscans and Romans.

"It was perfect! Camilla, Gaia and Camilla’s grandmother were amazing hosts. We felt like family on their beautiful property. It is peaceful and spacious and the apartments buildings are lovely. Everyone was so attentive and helped us navigate day trips and excursions. We can’t wait to return! "

Delightful villa in the heart of Tuscany

The Perfect Tuscany Stay

"Villa Le Bolli was an amazing venue. The staff made us feel welcome and feel as if the house was our own from the start. Sometimes, it is small touches that can make a big difference. With the help of the host, we had a pizza welcoming catered dinner. The host had a wedding before our stay and used the left over flower arrangements to add decorations for us. The sunsets were amazing and the kitchen had everything that was needed. The hosts were very generous with other things such as making sure the place was stocked sufficiently with toilet paper etc. for our entire stay.If you are thinbking of having a destimation wedding, then it will not get any better than this. We had an amazing and memorable family reunion and thank Pierangelo and Sara for making it very easy. "

Beautiful property out in the country

"This beautiful property is a 20 minute drive from the closest town (Ecole d'Elsa) but was perfect for day trips to wineries, medieval towns, Cinqueterre/Pisa and authentic restaurants. Drives into town were fun with wonderful interactions with the locals at butcher shops and bakeries. The housekeeper was delightful and very helpful with excellent recommendations for dining out."

Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel, Tuscany

"5/5 star property. You never have to even leave! Staff always went out of their way to make our stay special, turndown and cleaning service was great, bfast buffet was 10/10, and property is just stunning. We also did the cooking class on property which was awesome and the hotel also set up a wine tour for us and it was great to be shown small family wineries. Such a jem of a hotel, I hope we can come back soon! "

A great house for a group of friends to stay

"We had a fantastic time at the house, Fabio was excellent in his communication and help. The house is great with separate areas but big communal spaces. We had a couple of delicious meals cooked for us by Fabio, I would highly recommend this luxury! If I had to say one thing it would be great if the pool seating area was tiled instead of grass, but overall can't fault it."

Incredible Stay

"We were incredibly pleased to stay at Villa La Quercia. The house had everything we needed. The fans were very helpful on the warmer days. We enjoyed making dinner and relaxing on the outdoor patio. The walk up to the pool was a little bit of a walk uphill, however perfect way to warm up before a dip in the large beautiful pool. The owner, Camilla, was very helpful in giving us specific directions to the house and was on call for anything we needed. The housekeeper too, was so lovely and made sure we were comfortable. I would stay here again and bring friends. The view from the pool was spectacular, Tuscany just like you see in the movies. I wish we stayed longer. They provided a highchair and a baby crib for our 2 year old, she was so pleased!"
