"El personal es súper amable. Reservamos 2 horas antes de llegar al destino e inmediatamente nos enviaron WhatsApp para coordinarnos para el check in. Durante esas 2 horas previas a nuestra llegada nos estuvieron asistiendo con preguntas que teníamos sobre horarios y lugares para visitar esa misma tarde. Al llegar, el check in fue muy fácil. Nos encantó que tiene estacionamiento interno, lo que nos hizo sentir que el auto estría seguro. Decidimos ir a caminar al centro histórico para cenar fuera e hicimos 25 minutos caminando. Valladolid es un lugar muy seguro. Debo mencionar que tiene una alberca subterránea de agua caliente a la que puedes entrar a cualquier hora. Las habitaciones son muy amplias. "

"The employees were very attentive and didn’t laugh at me when I found a baby scorpion in my room in the middle of the night - they promptly changed me to another room. The in suite jacuzzi was a nice touch and a wonderful way to relax. Would definitely recommend if you’re in this city! It’s within walking distance from delicious restaurants, the centre and an easy drive to Chichen Itza"

"Hotel Posada San Juan is a charming place. Our room was lovely and comfortable, including a hammock. The location was great, on a fun neighborhood square where we watched a local dance group practice traditional dances. It was an easy walk to the main town square. We wish we would have stayed there longer!"

"The location is perfect. My room was clean with wonderful bed covers, perfect for the weather. This is a strong 3 star hotel. The reception desk will schedule transportation and tours. There are many restaurants and shops within 2 blocks of the hotel. "

"It is a beautiful property with an old-world feel to the rooms and the grounds. Easy walking distance to the ADO bus terminal, central plaza, and great restaurants (go for the Tamales @La Palapita, Burrito Amor). For breakfast we opted for the bakery (Tartalette) a few doors down, it was AMAZING! A great place to stay for couples, families or singles."

"The Casa San Juan was a great stay, especially for the price! We like to support locals when we travel & this family owned hotel & restaurant was just that! Very helpful with check-in, housekeeping & service at the restaurant! The room was spacious for 3 adults, the beds were a bit hard, but we slept well. The area was quiet, but we don’t mind waking up to the sound of chickens and turkeys. It is in a neighborhood, not in the city center. We took a 5 minute taxi ride from the bus station to the hotel.($40MX) Front desk was extremely helpful in booking us a private tour to 2 ruins & 2 cenotes! It was a perfect day! The restaurant was so convenient and delicious, we didn’t need to eat anywhere else! Breakfast buffet was delicious! If we return to Valladolid we would not hesitate to stay here again! If you like authentic & local, this your place! "
