"had an event on close, and stayed here as it was very affordable for three people for a week. You will be sharing the house with the owner and his cat jasper. Very amenable, we had to send kids first, then we also had to leave early and was no hassles.Main bed is on the firm side, with a huge ensuite and fridge.The second room is also large with a medium bed."

"We toured NZ for 2 weeks and spent 3 nights in the middle of the trip at the house. Unfortunately weather wasn't on our side, but have all the space, games, and great kitchen available meant if we were going to be rained in, we landed in the right spot and had some great family time."

"This was an absolutely beautiful getaway! The location in the dune above the beach gave an amazing view with continual sea breezes and a quiet atmosphere that was the epitome of rejuvenation. A kindly neighbor greeted us on arrival with very helpful advice and made us feel most welcome. Truly, my only regret is that we could not stay longer. This was amazing! "

"This house was just as described - perfect beach view and easy access. Host was great about communicating instructions and making sure we had all we needed. Located in a quiet beach community with a great little restaurant just across the road. I wish we could have stayed longer! "

"We were up from Ch Ch and had our son and his family over from London and daughter and her family from Ch Ch - 9 of us altogether. Loved our stay here! Kayaks a winner with lovely safe beach area. Table tennis also great.House very well appointed and clean and in good location as we had cars.Thanks!"

"This house was great for our family and Mel was responsive to all questions. We had one of our best holidays ever. "

"First off, for some reason I thought this was a fancy new home from the listing, but actually it's an older home with some recent freshening up. Everything was clean, e.g. linens, towels, carpet, counters, but there were a few minor scuffs on walls and a little bit of mold in the shower. The house is on the lake with a nice view and backyard. Some of the hedges along the driveway were in need of pruning as they were hanging out into the driveway. Some patio furniture is bolted down and there are...

"We really enjoyed our stay. The home was incredibly clean and really cozy, the hot tub was great in the evening after going down to the lake for a swim, even took the kayaks provided out which was fun. Beautiful location and really lovely host. Definitely would come back here :) "

"The hotel is in a great spot close to the beaches and cafes. The unit we were allocated was right on a busy road and is quite dated. The furnishings need a refresh. The pool was closed. I used the gym , which was ok. Parking is safe and adequate. "
