"Awesome location! Close to grocery stores and river trail. Enjoyed our stay in a big, comfy house."

"Lovely, cosy bach. Well equipped kitchen. The separate outside bedrooms gave every one space and privacy. The lake was beautiful to look at and swim in. A really peaceful retreat."

"Fantastic concept but lacks quality cooking items, a fridge way below capacity for the amount of guests that can be accommodated, no Wifi and lacks not having an 80 inch tv in the dining area to cater for sporting groups or large family gatherings etc. A beautiful place with an amazing view of the lake."

The house was immaculate on arrival, it felt very warm and welcoming with modern decor and appliances and had every possibly common comfort we could have needed, which is a rarity when it comes to booking holiday homes - we immediately felt at home. The location to the beach was brilliant with a nice 5 minute walk across the dunes. "What a cute, remote, little place this is! All you hear are the rumble of the waves and look out on the vista of the Bay of Plenty and Whakari/White Island. Highly recommend. If you're in need of supplies, Opotiki is a 10 minute drive away otherwise, enjoy the wilderness. Fully equipped unit to spend time away from it all. "
