"This place is a gem. A wonderful, secluded gem. The cabin sits by itself, surrounded by nature with no one else around. Very quiet. However, within about 30 minutes give or take you can be at Garner State Park or our favorite, Lost Maples Sate Natural Area. The hosts are very accommodating. "

"The mobile home was really clean, close to town, very quiet. It your looking for a hunting base camp or in town to visit family, it’s good for that. If your looking for the honeymoon suite, this is not it. The picture of the porch and the scenic Mountain View does not belong to this house. Again, it really was clean and worked well for what we need. "

"The check in process was seamless. Our host was quite possibly the sweetest lady ever. The cabin was very secluded and private, and had immediate private river access. The stargazer is perfectly named, there is zero light pollution out here and the night sky was amazing. I would reccomend 12 out of 10."

"We absolutely loved our stay—it was peaceful and beautiful. The property felt completely private, as we never saw another person during our visit. The room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable.There were only two minor things I would change. First, the bathroom lacks an exhaust fan. Second, while the sunken tub next to the bed is a unique and romantic feature, it’s not ideal for everyone—my husband is 6’4”, so bathing in a tub is challenging for him, and I’m not a big fan of baths. "I wanted the full “Cowboy Capital” experience so I booked this home with its rustic decor. Great little spot in Bandera for a solo traveler or couple, worked a day and a half remotely and the wifi was adequate. Only complaint is the size of the mini hot water heater - not enough for more than a 5 minute shower. "

"It was everything we thought it would be!"

"Loved our stay for our 16th anniversary! Cute a-frame home with large windows that allows great natural light in. There is a hot tub on property but you have to fill, heat and drain it. We did not have time to use it. The outdoor patio was a great area to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise and a nice glass of wine to watch the sunset. "

"The cabin itself is clean and well appointed. You essentially have everything you'll need in terms of appliances, dishes, utensils, beds, blankets. It was a good rate at the time we stayed.The location is also very convenient. You are only twenty minutes from Lost Maples and Garner Park. The management is attentive and responsive.Overall, excellent."
