Conkles Hollow is a state nature preserve within the Hocking Hills region. Its sheer cliffs of Black Hand sandstone rise nearly 200 feet above the valley floor.

The deep, cool gorge, which is only 100 feet wide in places and is considered to be the deepest in Ohio, has numerous waterfalls cascading over its sandstone cliffs.

The lower trail through the gorge is about 1 mile and is accessible for the most casual of hikers. The rim trail is a couple miles long and is a bit more strenuous.

Beautiful property, clean and comfortable house.

"My wife and I had a great, peaceful long weekend with our dog over the New Year's break. The house was spotless and comfortable, and the surrounding acreage consisting of vast forest and deep ravines was stunningly beautiful. We had just two very minor negatives. The bed pillows in the master bedroom were hard as rocks. That could be easily rectified with new pillows. And the lighting throughout is pretty dim. Neither of these facts would discourage us from staying there again, in any season."

"As soon as we walked into the property, we loved the Celtic music playing! We loved the idea of the dollar game and seeing everyone else who has enjoyed the property as much as us! Birthday get away

"Booked this property for my girlfriends birthday! It was my first time in the area but she had been before just hadn't stayed at this property. She was so pleased! The owner Tony communicated perfectly providing timely details and clearing up issues immediately. The property overlooks a ranch with bulls, cows and other animals. We were greeted in the morning by a rooster but we enjoyed it she named him Joe for some reason. The hot tub was excellent and we got some great use out of it. The amenities were more than we expected but a very pleasant surprise. We can't say enough good things about the property! It was also close to Hocking hills parks we went to rock house which was a great experience. So pleased with the visit and will look to book again in the future."
