"Any description about the place listed is spot on! We went for a couple days with friends and loved every second! Not far from the caves and this place was so secluded and quiet. The kids loved the room/fort at the very top of the stairs. Everything was so comfy and nice/clean. Wish we stayed a couple days longer. The responses from the property owners was very quick and welcoming! Thank you! "

"The location was picturesque and just enough off the beaten path/secluded to make it feel like a true escape. Cabin has great views and ample outdoor space considering being on a hill. There is a fishing pond within walking distance, a very nice and sheltered hot tub, a fun and relaxing covered porch with swing/glider/rocker, and a small and cozy but well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of space and separation in the cabin to be able to spread out and relax independently. The indoor spiral staircase was a tad intimidating, but fine with some care and caution. Spacious laundry room in lower level was stocked with plenty of extra towels/blankets and featured a large fridge. Good communication from hosts. Rustic yet clean choice with lots of character. Would stay again. "

"This property was the perfect little place for my husband and I to stay at for our first getaway after having a baby. The location near all of Hocking Hills' sites was perfect and the cabin itself was stylish and super well maintained with lots of great amenities. We didn't need to reach out to the owners at all but they were super communicative and had made it really easy to contact them if needed which was very nice! Our only super small call out would be having a drying rack or extra kitchen towels of some kind! We only cooked in once but even then it was a little difficult to make that all work. Otherwise, like we said, amazing! "

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Hocking Hoot. It’s about 5 mins from Rock house which was our families favorite! 20 mins from ash cave and old man’s cave.Hocking Hoot was fun for our kids with the video games, game boards and camp fire! We loved hanging out in the hot tub as well. I would highly recommend 58 West to eat…it’s about 20-25 mins away but well worth it. Justin the owner was wonderful…communication was great. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Justin for the hospitality! "

"The home is fully stocked with anything needed for your stay. We had a group of 11 people and had so much room. 3 & 1/2 bathrooms was very helpful with that size of a group. Little town close has nice restaurants and markets. Hocking hills state park was only 20 minutes away. We all enjoyed the hot tub and all of the spa towels provided. We loved the pool table in the basement also. We were sad that the TP wasn’t up but understand that it is only seasonal. Plenty of outdoor furniture and the fire pit was a nice touch. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for a getaway. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here! Our two year old and nine year old always had something to do. I love that the game room is located right off the kitchen so I could easily keep an eye on them even while warming up food(we froze food the few days before leaving to easily reheat, making it possible to spend as much time as a family). We took a hike on the property before sunset which was great. The hot tub was amazing. There was no shortage of towels which I loved, even though they have a washer and dryer with laundry detergent. I just felt they thought of everything. All the cabinets were labeled to make finding things easy. Instructions to use the sauna, hot tub, anything you can think of, they thought of! We used the fire pit to make smores. They already had the marshmallows and things to roast the marshmallows on. There were toys in the bedroom closet my two year old enjoyed. We did go to old man’s cave but a lot of ice there still so it was a short trip. We were fine with that knowing there was plenty to do at the house. We brought popcorn and watched movies each night. The hosts were very sweet and responsive. Oh yeah the massage chair was a nice addition. I just recommend bringing a baby gate for young ones the stairs are a bit scary even though they even took precautions on those. All the beds were also comfortable and my fiancé is super picky about beds, he slept great. Also, the swings and little koi pond! Nice addition.We definitely would like to return sometime! "
