We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Scottish Ridge Ridgeview cabin. So quiet and relaxing after exploring the Hocking Hills park. Everything we needed! We would definitely recommend this one to friends and family!
The cabin was better than advertised. I had a question and it was answered immediately. Everything was clean and charming. We enjoyed the hot tub and spent a lot of time relaxing at the fire pit. We definitely would stay again!
The property was clean and well maintained. It was on a beautifully wooded lot...very private but not too far from activities. Had lots of amenities like a hot tub and outdoor fire pit seating area.
My friends and I had a very nice time here. We enjoyed the fire pit area and talked for hours. It was set back in the woods and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The beds were comfortable.
We were close to all the sites that we wanted to explore. Nice experience!
My husband and I just needed to get away and relax and this cabin was the perfect setting. It was clean and cozy. Nestled in the woods just far enough to be peaceful, and yet close enough to many amenities. The hot tub was clean and relaxing and the bed was very comfortable. It was a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday!
Really really pleased with this cabin. Heard very little besides the sweet sounds of nature. Owners quickly responded to my question about the grill. Overall we had a great time. Check in was a breeze.... would definitely do again!
Thank you for sharing Ridgeview with us! Ridgeview is tucked away far enough that it feels very private (there are a couple other cabins on the lane but we hardly noticed any other people). But is close enough (20ish mins) to most area attractions. The cabin itself was cozy and we loved the Scottish themed decor. The hot tub was a nice feature to come back to each chilly night after hiking or exploring the area. We hope to return soon!
Loved the dollar bill game and the quietness of the property… the Raccoon's are a might bit mischievous and we had to pick up trash a couple times, but that is part of being in the wilderness
Everything was perfect. Cabin was well laid out with a bedroom and full bath on main floor and a bedroom up in loft with toilet and sink. We loved the deck overlooking the valley and sat there every nite enjoying the sunset. Kitchen was perfect for cooking dinners in. Cabin locationwas perfect for exploring the area. A quick 15 minutes to Oldmans cave. We couldnt get hottub to heat up so we couldnt use it. No problem because the firepit out back offered plenty of warmth. 10 stars for this property!
The cabin was a great little hid-a-way for the weekend. A little farther away from trails but not too remote. Overall cleanliness of the house was fine but needed some deep cleaning of lots of cobs webs. We were very excited to use the hot tub after our long drive only to find out in was only 67° upon arrival. It only got to 97° on day 2 and finally up to temp on day 3, which was a bummer. The A/C also didn’t work the entire weekend and when I alerted the owner I was told no one could get there for several days and to just open the windows. It was rainy and muggy out so we opted not to do that. Do not having a/c was definitely not ideal. Owner was responsive at times, but never checked in with us with the issues at hand. Power did go off for several hours in the area at no fault of the homeowner. Games, tv, radio, full kitchen supplies, robes, were all added bonuses and nice to have. Overall it was a decent experience but glad it wasn’t too hot outside yet or we would’ve had to leave. Worth staying at for sure.
We had a wonderful stay. The Scotland theme was evident everywhere and the Celtic music playing when we walked in was very welcoming! We soaked in the hot tub both nights and made breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen. We had reservations at the Hocking Hills Lodge one night for dinner and it was wonderful!
We had a water issue the first morning that we had to contact the property owner about and she called me right away. A plumber came out within a couple hours and the issue was resolved! Wonderful host!
Thank you so much Jodi! We will tell everyone about your cozy cabin and hope to be back soon!
The cabin is so cozy and in a great location. We easily traveled to Hocking Hills sites but then returned to the very private space to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit. We would definitely stay there again!
