"The property’s location is terrible. Directly across the street is a vendor that plays music waaay too loud for 6am. The music blasted all day and competed with the coffee shop’s music. Add the go kart noise and you get a constant barrage of sound that is far from peaceful. The pond was nice and the room was just ok. Will pick a property farther away from main st next time."

"My family and I really enjoyed our recent stay at Pioneer Lodge #4. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room appeared to have been recently updated and they did a great job of adding modern amenities while retaining some rustic charm. We loved the location as it afforded easy access to the mountain and popular restaurants. It was nice to have the coffee shop on property and I loved having the door code rather than keeping up with a card or key. This room might be a little...

"Great staff, rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, location was great. "

"My daughter and I arrive late on Friday, which I had emailed the property to inform them of a late arrival and asked if that would be a problem, no response. The key code that they gave me did not work! After an hour or so, help from other attendees and many messages and phone calls later we finally got into our room! The bathroom was tiny, the sink was just ridiculous, the shower was a nice size but no hot water! The ice box was frozen and had mold growing. Loved the days we spent in Red River....

"It was fine for a couple of nights. There wasn't maid service for either night because it was in the middle of the week and the maid staff is off those days...?"

"Very convenient booking and checkin, hot water, WiFi, really just needed a place to sleep after snow boarding. Awesome restaurant on first floor but not part of lodge. It would be nice if they offered specials for guests staying at lodge. Parking lot could be maintained better, with fresh layer of gravel and trash pickup. Lodge in need of renovation, but that is expected of a NM wore out ski town."

"There was no kitchen. We had to remove our own trash. Lots of rules. Place was nice but a little dirty. Great location. Three stories high no elevator."

"Our stay was not great… the location of the property is phenomenal with a great sunrise view. Unfortunately everything else lacked, the walls are very thin, the electric lock does not lock well, the fire sprinklers are taped over, the refrigerators, both stunk, our towels were not clean. I’m sure there’s more I could list, the unit needed some TLC to make it a good stay. The customer service was also great!"

"I can't say enough about this property. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. Attention to detail was amazing. We would never stay anywhere else in the Taos area! Yes, I would say 5 star!"
