"Jane is a wonderful host with fantastic communication. The location is right across from the water & in the morning, I could walk 2 minutes, grab a coffee and enjoy a walk during sunrise. "My sister and I stayed at Fig Cottage for a weekend up in Havelock North, it was a great location with easy access to the town. The cottage was very well set up with many breakfast options. Both beds were ready for us on our arrival. We enjoyed playing some of the games and the visits from Lexi the dog, as well as the cute surprise of apricots and raspberries in the morning. The garden was a beautiful setting. We very much enjoyed our stay. "

"I stayed here for two weeks and the experience was wonderful. Sheryl was such a welcoming and lovely host and accommodated us with whatever we needed or asked for. Plenty of room to lounge around in both with an upstairs and downstairs. Tried to fill in 'other' on who stayed, but wouldnt let me. There were 2 teachers and 5 Year 11 (15 year olds) students. Please let the owners know a small plate was broken."

"We really liked the location, and it suited a larger group so we could walk every ware to shops and attractions. The views are excellent however with the ranch slider open there is a lot of road traffic noise. Property is very tired with kitchen cupboards falling off, stair hand rail loose, Bathroom tap loose. We had to remove a rug in lower bedroom on floor and put in garage as it stunk of cat urine. "

"We stayed one night in a King Studio apartment. Quest Napier is quite central and the streets and parking were very busy when we arrived. We had booked parking under the hotel for the night which was a good thing. There are free carparks next door and across the road but only after 6pm and for some of the weekend.
