"I only stay for one day on a 13 day vacation. The power went out for more than 12 hours. Furthermore, there was no plumbing when the power went off. No ability to wash your hands or flush the toilet. It felt like being in a “HotBox”!! The hostess said that the power was out city wide, However, in town there was no problem with the power.. I chose this location because of its reviews. Clearly they are not being honest about the reviews.. "

"The description of the amenities are not accurate, no bar, laundry is not free, drinking water you pay, can’t have guess, up a hill that made it Inconvinient to travel back and forth to the sosua beach with ease. The living area is small. The area is quiet and the people are nice but the property is not worth it. You don’t get the whole property as you may think based on pictures. Wish I stayed at a hotel!"

"By far one of the best staying we ever had in cabarete, the place was very clean, the rooms were cozy, and very comfortable, the house is surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful energy, Maria and her husband were amazing hostess and treated us with so much kindness making us feel at home, we can’t wait to come back. "Interesting place. We selected due to proximity to the airport in order to minimize driving immediately upon arrival after a 24-hour trip, but proximity is not particularly relevant in Santiago, so a nerve racking drive was still required. Even though a bit far from city center and Uber may not be too happy if you need a ride, this is a fine place to stay for a very inexpensive price."

"We were pleasantly surprised! Cabarette is a busy fun vacation location .... not peaceful but fun! The Brisas Dorados guest house is located in a quiet pretty residential area at the beach but no street noise about 2km out of town! Absolutely beautiful. Warm and caring hosts Digby and Anna. Breakfast was lovely. Upper rooms are spacious and have a great view. Good walking beach. Highly recommend this peaceful oasis!!"

"All good, clean room with good breakfast. The only thing I didn't like was that my bedroom and toilet was separate. This meant walking past reception just to use toilete bathroom. Not sure if all rooms are like this but otherwise was good for the money we paid. Also you will be very close to everything."
