"I am truly not one to complain, but traveling so far and arriving to a house with absolutely no ventilation made it impossible to stay there and we had to leave and book another house. The rooms were dated and sweltering with heat, the units in two of the rooms blew hot air, and the main area was only bearable with all of the windows open which meant being covered sand fly bites. Truly one of the worst experiences arriving in such a beautiful place. Would not recommend."

"This was probably the best-organized, best-equipped place I've ever stayed. Toys and games, bicycles, first-aid kit, extra linens ... just absolutely everything you could need or want. The property is very quiet and peaceful, but just a 7-minute walk to High St. We especially enjoyed the peaches and pears from the fruit trees. "

"We arrived and were personally greeted by Steve. I’ve been too many accommodations in my life and I have never had a host like Steve. He was absolutely superb. We originally planned to stay for two nights and because of the.Bonhomie of the place we stayed a total of six days and five nights. We would have stayed all the way to the end of our trip. This was an unexpected find and you have a really open mind. I highly recommended to book this place. Just remember, it’s not the faint heart. "
