"I cannot stress how much I recommend this hotel enough; the entire experience was absolutely incredible. The owner, Kosuke, was so cool, accommodating, and sweet. Before we arrived, he called me on the phone to try and get my estimated time of arrival so he could pick us up from the train station. "Property is old but probably still the best hotel in the area. Heater in room was difficult to maintain consistent temperature. Room furnishings are dated and some are damaged. The public bath, sauna and other relaxation offerings are nice. However, when it comes to amenities of any kind forget it. All you get is a toothbrush and q tips. The hotel is directly across the street from Mikawa Anjo Tokaido line Shinkansen station. Not many restaurants in the area. Lastly, no tattoos in public bath....

"Good hotel, clean and staff pleasant. Parking available. Unfortunately no responses to emails before and after stay (emails in Japanese and English). Which meant although we booked for an infant and requested a cot, the hotel did not provide one and the room was too small for our travel cot. We also contacted them by email after stay when we left something in the room the hotel but again no response to emails in English and Japanese to arrange for us to retrieve it."

"Although very simple, the rooms are incredibly clean and tidy. In addition they are very attentive in the staff are just excellent as a typical in Japan if you’re looking for luxury. This is not it but if you’re looking for a nice solid place to just crash. This is fantastic."
