"We had a fantastic time. The host is an excellent communicator and responded to any questions relatively quickly. The only time there was any delay was when they were waiting to hear from other parties (e.g., cleaners). The house was well supplied and had magical views. St Omer Bay was nice walk from the house and a lovely beach to spend the day at. Hope to return another time."

"The listing pics don’t do the cottage justice. The place was pristine and everything you needed for a lovely stay. We borrowed the owner’s kayaks and had a lovely morning paddle in the bay. The kitchen was perfectly stocked will all kitchen items even some great grilling spices. The cottage was in tip top condition you can tell the owners love their Bach! "

"Beautiful view of Pelorus Sound. Short drive from Havelock. Local beach not awesome for swimming but a short drive to good swimming in Anakiwa. Good hiking and MTB tracks close by. House was very well appointed. Spotty cell service and no wifi."

"Immaculately clean and well fit out. lovely comfy beds, full kitchen including a range of spices and all the equipment you could desire (except an ice tray). As new condition for everything. My 5 yr old loved playing in the backyard pirate ship and enjoyed the selection of games thoughtfully provided. Slight confusion about where to get the key and check out time, which I’m sure is just a teething issue. Otherwise faultless. Highly recommend "

"Enjoyed our stay at this bach; great communication with the hosts; a rustic Kiwi bach with good access to the kayaks, life jackets and easy access to the beach. The gardens were great and the birdsong in the morning and evening was spectacular.Outdoor spaces were lovely and it was lovely to have the use of the picnic tables for outdoor entertaining.Good solar and gas supplies for our hot water and cooking facilities.Unfortunately the previous guests who had just checked out had left their rubbish at the bach so that ended up being a bit smelly.Luckily the weather was fine and it was easy to accommodate our group of 10 outside mainly for dining. It might have been a bit difficult if it had been raining most of the time.All in all we had a lovely time."
