"It could have been better. The location and price met our needs for a last minute solution for a trip to meet up with friends nearby. The place was charming but run down. The walls had many holes and scuffs that could have easily been fixed with spackle and a coat of paint. The fireplace/thermostat didn’t work until the last night we stayed. There was black mold on window sills and on the bathroom ceiling. The carpeting was dingy and the sofa needed cleaning. Overall the look of the place could...

"The condo is nice especially for 2 people. We had a problem with the smoke alarm on our last day. The battery needed to be changed so it started chirping at about 5 am. Other than that everything was really nice. The lake is right there and the pool area is great and easy to get to. "

"Very nice place with a warm cabin feeling. It has a small kitchen with a sink, stove, and counter . The place comes equipped with pots, pans, and microwave . Just bring your own cooking oils, spices, and plastic wrap and utensils like forks and spoons. This place has a fireplace, it was nice to have a fire while it snowed outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They are also dog friendly. I would stay here next time! "

"Found this rental while looking for a place to stay while attending a wedding on the resort. Dylan and Renee were super easy to communicate with and answered all my concerns in a timely manner. Super cozy and homey feel, I love how close yet still far enough from all the noise of the resort. Would definitely think about renting for the snow season since it’s right next to a lift. Plus the pools and hot tubs would be ideal after a long day on the mountain. Worth every penny! "

"This was the ideal place for a week-long family ski trip to Palisades Tahoe. It worked out perfectly for my family of 3 and my brother's family of 4 (and certainly could have fit a few more). The unit was just as advertised, comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. It's just down the road from the resort and included with the stay is access to the Mountaineer, a free personal shuttle you can order from an app on your phone to the door of the unit straight to the mountain. "This is a great unit. Very spacious. The beds are very comfortable. Only criticism is that the couch is oriented in a way that makes viewing the TV awkward. The fenced backyard and proximity to the groomed winter walking path makes this an ideal property for travelers with dogs. Location is convenient to Palisades and Tahoe City, We definitely would stay here again."

"Great location in South Lake Tahoe, nice studio condo, very convenient garage and first floor access. I stayed with my son, and my two grandchildren, ages 11 and 14 visited us for a few nice dinners. The fireplace is lovely, the bedding was comfortable, and the full kitchen made it really easy for us to store food and cook meals."

"We spent three nights here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Cozy cabin space with fireplace. The period decor was great--right out of the 1950's but clean and well-maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful--we hit some local hills for early season sledding and they set us up with sleds and helmets. We will be back!"

"We came for a soccer tournament. This location was close to the fields. It’s a very cute cabin that you can go and relax. It has a nice hang out area outside which was great with the kids. The lake also is very close! We would stay again. "

"We had a nice few days at the condo. The condo has everything you need. There wasn't anything that we were lacking, except for air conditioning. But thankfully the condo has many nice stand up fans. We needed them as it was 98 in Tahoe. We really appreciated the stand up paddle board we used at the lake. The rooms were comfy and we felt like we were at home. It's very close to everything on the north side. We would definitely stay there again. "

"It is an adorable and comfortable studio and a short walk to Chair 5. Great communication with the owner, she is very responsive. Couple of things to note, the fridge is very small and the pull-out bed is tiny. I'm 5'6 and my feet hung over the edge. It is more suited for a small child. Also, I suggest rewriting the check-in and check-out instructions. The codes needed are in different locations and the check-out instructions weren't accurate. "

"Three days for our family to enjoy Thanksgiving together. The plan was to never leave the house/yard and the house was perfect for that. There was plenty of space for us to spread out, watch TV, play games, eat together and converse. The bedroom layout worked well for our family. And outside there was snow! The kids had a blast building snowmen and sledding down the driveway. Mark was a great host and so easy to communicate with. He answered texts quickly even after arrival. We had a great time!"
