Bigfoot Inn -cabin with loft -near Illinois River

PRIVATE HOT TUB!!! We call this intriguing little place, The Bigfoot Inn. The cabin is located about 1 mi off of Hwy 10 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and is less than 2 mi from the Illinois River. Plenty of parking available. This adorable space is 400 sq ft with a large loft and room divider for added privacy. The loft has a TV, queen size bed, twin size bed, seating and bedding. The first floor has a single hide-a-bed and seating. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in the woods.
Guests are free to use all of the Bigfoot Inn and surrounding amenities: Hot tub, rolling partition/cabinet/cooler, cornhole, horseshoes, hammock, firepit, BBQ Grill and more!
We also offer Discovery Plus, Netflix, Prime Video and many more free channels on both TVs for a relaxing evening.
Several original acrylic paintings are available for sale on-site! Make offers, payable by cash only.
Responsible adults are appreciated.
Pets are welcome at Bigfoot Inn but please add your pet to the reservation by clicking on "Travelers" and "I am traveling with pets" to add the $50 pet fee. We are right in the middle of 4 float operations, 2 miles North of Diamondhead & War Eagle, 1 mile South of Peytons Place and 3 miles South of Eagle Bluff. We are a little over 1 mile South from Edmondson (Combs Bridge) access point which is one of many public access points where anyone can bring and use their own floatation device or spend the day fishing, hiking, etc.
Public access areas on the Illinois River are open for people to visit seven days a week. Those include Round Hollow, Stunkard, Peavine, Edmondson (Combs Bridge), No Head Hollow, Todd and Echota. Echota and No Head Hollow feature boat ramps, while the others have gravel bars from which guests can launch their boats. The Illinois River is an excellent fishing destination for catching smallmouth and largemouth bass, channel and flathead catfish, walleye and various sunfish.
Sparrow Hawk Wildlife Management Area and J. T. Nickel Family Nature and Wildlife Preserve are both nearby as well and open daily for hiking!
Exact address will be provided after booking reservation and door code will be provided the day before arrival.

Cozy
Definitely remote and quiet. Upper loft is kind of tricky for big people (low ceiling!), but was workable. Nice hot tub and outdoor area!

It was peaceful very quiet. I did like the little scavenger hunt ordeal looking for Bigfoot my wife and I made it out of a competition who would find it first lol

Nice little cabin
We enjoyed our stay. It was smaller than expected for a 4 person cabin. It would be great for a couple. We made it work and enjoyed the experience.

Adorable place!
This place was small but absolutely adorable! One of the cleanest places I have ever been too. All the linens, towels etc were fresh and clean. The amenities were great..they had all kinds of games to play, hot tub, tv with free apps to watch. We went for a trip down the river and had a great time. Back to cabin for steaks on the grill! Definitely worth a stay if your in the area! I can see us back next year

Cute & Fun!
My husband & I took our kids on a little getaway for kayaking on the Illinious River! The Bigfoot cabin was everything we needed & wanted! Most importantly for me -CLEAN! We all enjoyed the outdoor games that were already here including, horse shoe pit, cornhole & ladderball! One less thing to pack! ✅ We all piled up in the loft for a movie each night with many options from Netflix & Disney! We would highly recommend & hope to be back!

My dogs & I truly enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was wonderful after a long walk w/the dogs. The yard is fenced in so the dogs loved playing w/each while I BBQ’d. The hosts were fabulous - very attentive! Come get away for a couple of days and enjoy a piece of heaven.

Wet but Wonderful!
Although it rained almost my entire visit, the comfort/coziness of this place made my trip here worth it. After checking with me first, the host even rushed over, in between downpours, to bring me a brand new grill/smoker. It was beautiful. Hot tub was wonderful. By the way, if anyone needs more privacy than what they're provided here, they should probably stay home!

Bigfoot time
Property was very clean and I could tell there was a lot of work put into it, from the building to the artwork displayed. It’s a very cozy cabin and the hot tub is really nice! I was greeted by the owner when I arrived and they were very welcoming. I would stay again.
