"Scrolling through options that cost an arm and a leg, i was pleased to find this affordable option. Great staff, good food ( but after 4 days we had tried most options), comfy bed and beach access. No pool bar, but bar is a short walk. Ice machines would have been nice, but bar staff was accomodating. Chickens, a few lazy dogs and bashfull cats were a plus."

The owner was extremely nice: she picked us up at the airport and drove us less than 5 minutes to the Lodge. Breakfast ($20)was delicious but overly large-a nice splurge for your first day, but not worth it otherwise. I would definitely stay here again--it is a convenient and pleasant place to recover from your flight and launch your French...
