"Beautiful hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly. The bungalows are roomy and lovely. The pool is perfect. The restaurants and breakfast - very good. Only one complaint- we ate in the main restaurant Sunday evening and the chef was clearly not there. Reheated French fries were inedible and other elements clearly not fresh. They should not open on Sundays. "

"Our second time staying here. The hotel and room are great along with the desk staff. However, the staff at the bar are terrible. Waiting for an hour for two drinks when it was not very busy is ridiculous. Disappointing since we love their mojitos but apparently they just didn’t want our money. "This hotel was so dark in the interior that I had difficulty finding my room. The breakfast was meager and ridiculously expensive -$35 for the continental breakfast and $45 for the full buffet. Too expensive even if the items had been full but many platters were empty and not re-filled. The wooden deck around the pool needed repair; many nails sticking up. The area outside the hotel was quite rough with broken sidewalks and poor lighting."
