We were anticipating a cozy room, in a country pub setting but, in reality, the D&P offers good value, chalet-style family rooms, each with it’s own car port, in a large area behind the pub itself. We could only reach the breakfast room by walking across the car-park, which was not pleasant in the February weather, but the wide selection and generous portions of cooked food available for breakfast add to the overall good value for money offered by this hotel.
