"We stayed for a few days and found that this lovely place was full of historic character and the bed was absolutely lovely and i just could not wait to get back to just have a really good night's sleep. The staf are and very helpfel , charming and made our stay so much better. The breakfast was great and the food choice was very good. "We were expecting a lovely country house with spa in a quiet location. We were not told that there was a wedding taking place right under our unglazed windows, the spa being a hot tub outside and the reception being a man in a tracksuit who had to be called to attend to us. Completely unprofessional. So bad we turned and walked back out. Disgraceful "
