"The hosts have gone out of their way to make their house an inviting place to stay in. The location is superb and made our relaxation times at home just as nice as our exploration of Dorset. Lots of lovely places to visit. Highly recommend this as a holiday venue."

"We really enjoyed Rushay - the house, Cottage and grounds are beautiful. Full use was made of the tennis court and we drove to Charmouth for an early morning swim each day. The beds are really comfy and the bathroom facilities are good. We did feel that the kitchen equipment needs updating a little - we just managed to cater for 20 between the two kitchens and using quite a few items brought from home. Altogether though, a really lovely time was he by all!"

"This is a beautiful house, well equipped and was really suitable for our holiday with three generations of family. The pool was a big hit with the children in particular and the adults enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and steam room. The beach at Weymouth together with all of the attractions are within easy reach. This was a very enjoyable week."

"What a beautiful setting! This property has everything you need for a peaceful safe and comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the ease of using the lift makes for a stressless experience. Once you are up on the first floor you can access all areas easily. This proved invaluable for someone who finds stairs difficult.The views are fabulous and the furnishings are comfortable. "The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a bin bin bag to collect rubbish. There were cobwebs and number of Rooms the black leather sofa was old and worn out and not very comfortable so although the setting was nice it did look like somewhere that the owners were trying to get out of as they told us there were selling up. I cant understand some of the reviews that claim some of the furniture is a bit worn.... the house has charm and has the sense of travelling around the world (which Stanley has) without ever leaving and feeling extremely helpful. "Arrived at Martock Cottage for a much needed break. And the cottage was perfect right down to the welcome hamper and treats left for my dog! The cottage is beautiful and felt so comfortable on walking in. Tracy and family clearly care a lot for the cottage and have kitted it out perfectly… you can tell that they love staying there too. Great for just chilling out and for exploring the local area and beaches. We had a great time thanks! x"
