"Wonderful house, very comfortable and well appointed. Set back from main road so no real traffic noise. A bit tricky for car access as divided road but easily manageable once you know then roads. Definitely recommend."

"I cannot recommend this lodge enough! A group of friends and I stayed for 4 nights and everything we needed was supplied. Plenty of space, rooms and bathrooms which was so important for a big group! Very secluded area, however still very close to everything, with the airport just around the corner. Brigette was a lovely host and was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend staying at this lodge, the house was spacious, the scenery is stunning, and overall just a perfect place to...

"Very clean, modern, with lots of well thought out details. Appreciated having a washer and an outdoor line for our woolens and sports gear. Street parking was never an issue. Easy walk to breakfast (loved Luciano’s!), the park, the Avon… The plug-in air freshener gave me a headache, but the space aired out quickly once we turned it off. "

"Great location, close enough to dip into Chch if wanted, but perfectly positioned to enjoy all North Canterbury has to offer, with wineries, rivers and beaches, a stones through away. Positioned in the heart of a friendly community with plenty of Cafe and dinning options within walking distance. Loved the private deck and backyard along with the bonus of the pool table for some friendly family competition. Highly recommend - great character!"
