"What a hidden gem. Fitzgerald cottage had everything we needed; it really is a hidden oasis in the middle of the CBD. My adult daughter commented that she wished she was friends with the owner as she has "the best taste ever" in decorating. Everything was comfortable, clean and just overall fantastic. Communication was great and we will definitely try to stay here again when next in Christchurch. Thank you for allowing us to stay here."

"The property was just as expected and perfect for us on our 18 day holiday in Christchurch. The weather was terrible, but the cottage was warm and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our things and we were able to entertain friends and family. Even though the surrounding area isn't inspiring, we were amazed how quiet it was, and the closeness of public transport was good. "We were unaware it was only 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds... but worked just fine because the boys had sleeping bags on one bed. Dishwasher was not functioning safely with drawers unable to take weight so we chose to hand wash our dishes. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay."
