"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. "Great location to explore the Peaks and views from the village are breathtaking. Three local pubs but didn’t serve the food and unfortunately the fish and chip shot is closed until early January so we had to buy some food from the CooP. Parking is tricky unless you have a really small car but we’ve managed to park not far from the property and we could walk to places locally. "We had a wonderful stay at corner cottage and would definitely return! The cottage is lovely and cosy, full of everything you need, and has a wonderful picturesque location with two fantastic pubs and a village shop. Speaking with the owner ahead of our arrival, he provided us with a wealth of info about the cottage, as well as the local area and places to visit. It was our first visit to the Peak District but certainly won’t be the last! Thanks for a wonderful weekend stay. "

"The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...
