"What a beautiful unique place hidden in the North Yorkshire countryside. Run by a lovely lady called Ginny who was so welcoming. She explained everything about the room, facilities and local walks. Loved the honesty shop. Had a great number of things to choose from, from hiking essentials (for sore feet!), to fresh eggs and pies. The room was perfect and very unique. "We were disappointed when we arrived because the house hadn’t been heated. It was 14 degrees and we had to spend the evening in the kitchen with our coats on to keep warm. It wasn’t obvious how to change the heating so it reached 16 degrees maximum and was absolutely freezing at night. We have a 3 month old baby so I spent the night worrying he was too cold.
