It was more a guest house than a B&B, with the main rooms, including the kitchen, available to everyone. Guests avail themselves of supplies and facilities to make their own breakfast. Host was friendly and welcoming."

"Fantastic little find and will definitely stay again. I would highly recommend this little gem of a place with such friendly staff. The wee lodges were epic. My only criticism was not knowing the wee pub across the road, the Stavely Arms isnrun by the same team, as we would have dinner there had we known. The breakfast was epic, and the bed was super comfy. Well worth the money we spent both on the accomodation and in the bar."

When I managed to reach the responsible person, they sounded frustrated on the phone, as if it was my fault they hadn't fulfilled their responsibilities properly The advertisement was ambiguous, and I wasn't aware that the bathroom was separate. Additionally, the room wasn't clean, and the towels provided were dirty, so I had to get my own. The heating wasn't functioning, and it was uncomfortably cold. The award winning breakfast is just that with plenty of options to suit even the fussiest eaters. The property is an easy walk to the heart of the town but set in a quiet area."
