"Great stop along the way and not too far from Glacier lagoon that it makes for a great stopping point. Restaurant at hotel available, not many other food choices around. If you have kids - request a room on the top floor - the footsteps of people overhead were loud. Luckily everyone goes to bed by 10 pm"

"Stayed for one night during vacation in March. Was a perfect stop on the drive along the ring road. Nice staff, easy check in, free parking, safe and clean. The rooms have lots of beds (perfect if you have a family with you), and it was super comfy. The hotel even offered to call our room if they saw the northern lights, and THEY DID! Our phone rang at 11PM to alert us so we could go outside! It was the only time we got to see them so we were so appreciative, what a kind gesture! Would stay...

I'm a horse person and of course had to take lots of photos of the beautiful Icelandic Horse. I love their wild mane that gives them a rock star look and how they seem to fit right in with the rough and rugged landscape. This guy stood and posed for me for as long as I wanted.
