"Lovely hotel in a great setting. Less than 20 minutes from Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. Very friendly staff at check in and at the bar. The restaurant was very nice for both dinner and breakfast - great selection at breakfast including chocolate cake! A little expensive, but no more than Iceland in general. Nice room with twin beds as requested - at the end of a long corridor though so after dinner we were too tired to head to the hot tub and didn't really fancy walking that distance in a...

I'm a horse person and of course had to take lots of photos of the beautiful Icelandic Horse. I love their wild mane that gives them a rock star look and how they seem to fit right in with the rough and rugged landscape. This guy stood and posed for me for as long as I wanted. Talk about a rock star!
