"We absolutely loved our stay at Lucky Duck Cabin! Hosts were a dream to work with. They helped us with other questions about the area and tips on other tours. We rented their van while there and it was a champ in the snow. Normal rental cars would not have made the trek up to the resorts. The cabin was so fun and quaint in a beautiful location. "Great little hotel for a one night stay. Clean, tidy and great amenities. Laundry came in very handy! Close to centre of Nagano city and our favourite Ramen shop (Yoshiya) that we visit every time we visit Nagano. Luggage storage available for continued exploring after checkout. Close to local trains and about 5-10minute walk to JR station. For the price and convenience would stay here again."

"Amazing hotel. Friendly stafff. Rooms are small but were were there to see Tokyo not stay in a room! Hotel is super easy access underground to Nagano station and in the center of it all. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone heading to ski Japan. Great starting location and food choices around hotel are plenty"

"We stayed at this hotel for seven nights during our Nagano ski trip in late January 2025. The location was convenient, the rooms were comfortable, and parking costs $10 per night. Be sure to move your car before 11 AM and park after 3 PM, as spaces fill up quickly in the afternoon. The hotel has a microwave in the lobby and a Lawson store right downstairs. We’ll definitely stay here again for our next ski trip!"
