"We had a lovely stay with friends and went to Newbury Races which was a couple of stops on the train which is a 5/10 minute walk from the cottage The cottage was very nice 2bedrooms the smaller on is a bit small but fine for a few nights The kitchen is well equipped in fact the only down side was the shower which was very low pressure and the temperature kept changing so you had to jump in and out otherwise it was wonderful and we would use it again if staying in the area "

"Everything was perfect from start to finish. Ayla and Mike are great hosts and were so helpful with their knowledge of the area. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. "We booked for a group of friends for an overdue catch up and a long weekend. On arrival we were all pleasantly surprised with the property, pictures don't do it justice. Good quality furnishings, comfy beds, beautiful open plan kitchen and everything you need for a great stay including WiFi. We had 3 cars on the drive and could easily fit another. We spent most of our days in the garden and hot tub, you are not overlooked from any other properties in the garden and it is a bit of a suntrap. At...

"This was a perfect place for our family of five. Hosts were friendly and communicative. Loved the proximity to Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral (short car ride to both). We would definitely stay again."

"My wife and I and another couple loved staying at Mallard Cottage. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and the laundry with a clothes dryer was really appreciated. The living area enjoyed floor to ceiling glass looking out on a sunny, relaxing garden which sloped down to the fast flowing river. It was a short walk in to the centre of the city. Hosts, David and Deepti, were welcoming and very helpful. I highly recommend this cottage to others."

"The location was perfect for long walks. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. There is plenty of space and the upstairs room, which we didn’t use, is ideal for a small family to have their own space. Plenty of hot water and the hosts were incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend, especially for a family group. We didn’t take advantage of the go karts but I could see they’d be lots of fun for children."
