"Great home for entertaining large groups. We were pleasantly surprised to see many necessities were already there, ie. toilet paper, coffee filters, spices, ice making machine, laundry detergent, etc. The manager, Jack, was helpful and easy to reach out to. Would highly recommend."

"Happy Minnewaska is a great place for making memories! Our family really enjoyed our time there, relaxing, hiking in the surrounding area and making s'mores around the campfire. The house is just as pictured, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for basic cooking, which is all we did. "My friends and I were looking for a place for 8 of us to enjoy the weekend and it was awesome. The house location has one of the most beautiful sights of any VRBO house I've stayed at. Catskills Perfection

"I had always heard about the Catskills, but had never been before now. Found the Shandaken Inn on an internet search, and wasn't sure if it would be all it seemed to be. it was even better! The property was gorgeous, surrounded by inviting peaks; a large open field, with a swimming pool at one end and several independent cottages at the other, offered a great place for our dog and us to amble; a short nature trail, well maintained, connected to an old railroad bed that was nice to stroll. The main building was beautiful and well maintained, and the interiors of our room and the Inn were rustic without being corny, everything well appointed. The Nevele Suite, was perfect. Entry into a small sitting room with a sofa that converts to a bed (didn't use it) as well as a cart with an electric kettle for tea (beautiful wooden tray, labeled with multiple teas) and a French Press for coffee. The main room consisted of a roomy bedroom with a very comfortable King bed and an open floor plan offered another brighter, bigger sitting area, with a gas fireplace.(easy to operate, We have never stayed a m ore dog friendly place than this-dog towel, dog treats, bowls, dog coverlet for bed and furniture-perfect!Everything we even THOUGHT we might need was available in the room. Katie and Raphael, are top notch professionals and provided perfect service and ready conversation about the area (Raphael was born and raised in the area and could recommend anything. A perfect oasis."
