"We loved staying at the Hersie House. The home is extremely well equipped with all the essentials and a few nice extras that we didn’t expect, such as coffee and creamer and spices in the kitchen. The decor was charming. We enjoyed looking at the pictures of the renovation and reading about the history of the place. The heated bathroom floor was a touch of heaven! We will be back!!"

"We had such a nice time getting away from the busyness of home to this precious cabin in the woods. Tons of room for the kids to explore and play outside. We all collected sticks for starting a fire and played tag in the huge fenced in back yard. The kids loved the yard games provided and the treehouse. It was very quiet and relatively private. The cabin was super clean and well decorated which I value a lot . We felt right at home. "

"We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we visit the area. It was a great value for what we paid. We had a bedroom, a loft bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room for the same price I've paid for a regular hotel room. The key is to go into it with your eyes open. The property is older and it shows. There were dings in the furniture and the decor was outdated. Misty mountain hops and the yellow plant are to die for food was awesome and the butcher and bottle in Ellijay is great very classy we hiked in Cherokee national forest played corn toss and relaxed "

"Great service by Maria throughout our stay. Was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. It has a steep driveway, but then you get the view of the mountains! Close to restaurants and hiking. Please note that there is no elevator. Yes, you have to carry your bags upstairs!"

"El personal muy atento y amable. Las habitaciones muy cómodas y limpias, aunque en el baño había mucho polvo en el mueble del lavamanos. Las instalaciones son muy lindas, el lobby es precioso y tiene una chimenea muy agradable para el clima que estaba haciendo. Tienen juegos de mesa y un bar muy cool. La piscina es con calefacción así que pudimos disfrutarla. A tener en cuenta, deben hacer reservación para todo antes de llegar al hotel porque es complicado (o tal vez por la fecha en la fuimos) conseguir disponibilidad, tanto en los establos como en el spa y hasta el restaurante. Nosotros nos quedamos sin comer una noche, además que el hotel está un poco retirado del pueblo"
