"Great hotel with lovely friendly staff who go out of their way to help. All areas very clean and well presented. As with any old building be aware of steep steps. Fires are regularly stoked but be aware of some cooler areas. "

"Excellent dog friendly hotel in the middle of Tetbury. We were in The cloisters which had its own courtyard and access directly to gardens and carpark, all great to those dog moments! Eat at the hotel both nights where service was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Brilliant stay and we will be back."

"It’s a lovely place to stay. We were in the annexe, room was really large, sitting room then up a bit to bedroom and bathroom jut off that room. Staff in bar on the slow side, had to be found to get served. Evening meal was good (even though 6oz steak! Had soup to start but no spoon supplied so used desert spoon. No steak knives either so ploughed through with just a normal knife. Possibly not quite four star, but would stay again. "
