"The property is well taken care of, rooms nicely decorated and beds comfortable. The area has many options for tasty food and although a bit expensive for what and where they are, still a lot more reasonable than the food at Mt Snow ($10 pizza slices, really! Bring your lunches). My suggestions for the property: add electric outlets in the room (we all have phones, tablets and laptops) and towel racks in the bathroom (lots of ski gear to hang dry)."

"This was our 2nd time staying at The Nutmeg, and we’ll be back. A beautiful gem in southern VT near Mt. Snow. A quiet oasis with outstanding breakfast, comfortable rooms, a delightful game room, and very welcoming owners and staff. "

"Really lovely. Innkeepers are friendly and the property has a smaller number of rooms so is quite peaceful. My 10 year old son really enjoyed the quiet and the multitude of board games. Charlie even had all the cars cleared of snow the morning after a big snowfall. Will be back for sure!!"

"This is a fine place to stay. Everything is thoughtfully provided to make guests comfortable. The bed was very high quality, too. There were snacks, breakfast options, and good coffee available in the morning. Nothing fancy, but very useful and much appreciated."

"I loved the room we stayed in. It was such a comfortable bed as well as the pillows. The bathroom was large and just about everything in our room was like a storybook. Loved skimming through some of the old books...so informative. The only thing I wished we knew is it was difficult to find a place to eat as we were there Monday thru Wednesday morning and no eateries on Main Street was opened. "Condo was great, cozy, and clean. Has access to the pool and hot tubs from back porch and has great Mountain View’s. The village had plenty of food, little expensive, but pretty good. Overall great place to stay and enjoy the mountain. "

"Property was great! The internal heating was broken though so there were heat lamps everywhere. Unfortunately every email besides Expedia went to junk so it took a little while to sort through that. If it were not for the heaters I would recommend 10/10 for the location but I stilll give it 9/10 with the hiccups. Will definitely come back."

Beautiful hotel with nice amenities and pet friend

"Lovely hotel. We stayed here second time and will definitely come back again. We enjoyed the premises which is pet friendly and superb for our cat to stay with us in hotel room. We (with our cat) enjoyed our hotel room which was spacious, clean and had a lovely view of the mountains which was special to see on cold days with snow outside. We stayed three days two nights and appreciated the slightly earlier check-in accommodated to us. It was also nice to have the free coffee in mornings and drink vouchers in evenings with snacks (nice touch). The staff are friendly and warm. In room amenities are superb but just found it odd that we have to request kettle or coffee machine and room doesnt have it. Also would be great if there was microwave in room. The shower was nice but the knobs were slightly tricky to work it. There was no drinking water provided in room which would have been nice if 1-2 bottles. The bed was comfortable and clean. The location of hotel was superb, close to main city center while in quiet area. We liked that we were only few minutes out from many ski destinations- perfect for winter trip. The hotel has nice amenities with beautiful lounge area with fireplace as well as great restaurant. Although we found the food at the restaurant quality had dropped from last year and was very very pricy ($50 per person without drinks plus tips). We like the fact that the staff and hotel is friendly for our cat which we really appreciate and hope to come back again soon! "
