"Lorraine’s place is perfect. Off the beaten path, sometimes quiet. But so easy to walk to central places or to transport by bus or train. The rooms was spacious with everything we needed, and her service was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious, so spoiled being served to your room each morning. "

"Stayed for 2 nights. Had a lovely stay. Callum checked when we would arrive and greeted us at the door. Had a nice breakfast, which you pick the time and food you would like the night before. Loved the size and decor of the room. The toiletries in the bathroom were lovely. There is some noise from the main road however "

"We loved Highland Guest House. It's in a perfect location in a great little tow. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, and another guest lounge had supplies of tea, coffee and fruit available during the day. We found many wonderful walks in the area, great meals in the nearby pub and lots of interesting shops in town. This guest house was also the best value accommodation we found on our holiday in the UK."

"Overall it was a lovely property. Quiet, clean, very comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating and made us some fridge space. It would have been nice to be instructed a bit more regarding use of outdoor space. There was a key in the door leading to outside, and the door was very difficult to open and would lock on us if closed. Breakfast was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again but would ask more questions at check in!"

The breakfast is very good, it sets you up well for the day. Great advice from Stuart on where to eat and what to see locally. Everything at Ravenswood is spotlessly clean. "It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The hosts were charming and attentive. It was fun to talk with them and the other guests, and the breakfast (made specially for each guest) was some of the best food I had while in the UK. The bathroom was pretty small, and the shower was one of those stand-alone ones that looks a bit like a box, but the bathroom and room were always very clean. The parking was a bit tight when every spot was full (I had a large rental car), but there was enough space...
