"couldn't speak highly enough of the Moxy. Staff excellent, rooms excellent, breakfast more than acceptable and a good bar and a great breakout area where my daughter and I could chill out rather than the room. I will be returning. If they could sort out cheaper parking (£14 quid for 24 hours) somewhere close by, that's the only way it could be improved as it's a bit out of the city centre. "This hotel was such good value The room was clean and spacious. There were plenty of clean, white, fluffy towels and miniature toiletries. "don't know why Hotels.com ask about a charge point - there's virtually none in Devon and Cornwall once you get outside of Plymouth and Truro so i have no idea why this would make any difference to the quality of the accommodation.... This is a great place to stay and is very well used by the locals. Ive stayed here a few times before so im happy to return whenever im in the area"

"Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed. Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night. The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions. We will definitely return. "

"A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very good standard of food. The classic room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Perfect for a relaxing break once you have negotiated the 1.5 mile single track road to the hotel!"
