"Very clean and friendly staff room lovely "

"It’s actually 4.5/5. Lovely room, comfy bed, lots of hot water and a fantastic view. Very friendly to both humans and our dogs. Room very clean, downstairs floor less so, but so much mud being brought in….. The only negative is the cooked breakfast, eggs lovely, bacon and sausage less so. Most delicious chocolate croissants I’ve ever had though!"

"Two night stay visiting for Dorchester Beer festival which was 5 mins walk away. Comfy accommodation. No food but you can bring food in and excellent Wetherspoons 2 mins walk away."

"The room, large and clean with comfortable bed, nice clean bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was good, breakfast cooked to order and lots of choice. The location of the Hotel is great for Shaftesbury town, a 12 minute walk takes you to the centre. We really liked it. We didn’t use the pool but it looks nice, although it seemed to be constantly used by locals mainly. Overall very happy "

"The room was nice,it is above a pub and right in the centre of the town centre which is exactly what we wanted. It was great to have live music in the pub on the Saturday night so we didn't have to go far at the end of the night."
