"The Jarvis was just perfect for our family reunion! There was plenty of room, both inside and outside to gather and celebrate. At the same time, everyone had their own luxurious private space. We spent much time around the enormous dining room table having meals, playing games, and telling stories. "What a view! We stayed two couples and 1 (18 month old). The house was just a short drive into downtown Ellsworth. Just about 8-10 Minutes to the local restaurants, LLBean outlet, and a wonderful playground/park. The home had comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, recently updated furniture/decor, and an exceptional view. We had plenty of space and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend! "

"We loved our stay at Idle Hour II. Especially all the windows from which we could take in the surroundings. Bar Harbor and Acadia was an easy 45 min drive. Beds (seemed to be the same) were not our favorite for comfort. Everything's was clean and had the amenities we needed. Having 2 camping chairs in the utility room was great - we ate our lunch on Sand Beach in comfort! We would definitely stay again. "
