"My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our stay here. The cabin was cozy, inviting and had all the accommodations we needed. The setting: perfect! Right on the tidal river and seemingly in the middle of nowhere—but super close to anything we needed in Ellsworth. "This cottage was just down the road from family so very convenient. The views of the lake were amazing and the house had all we needed. We accidentally locked ourselves out but was able to reach the host and get help right away. An amazing stay!! "

"Great location- 2 clean cabins and great view of the pond! Off the beaten path. Busier road then expected so walking between the cabins with smaller children would have to be supervised - limited grocery storage for the five of us - later check in the most and earlier check - out! Fans kept us cool - beds comfortable ! Overall a few flaws but one of our favorite picks to date!"

We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. "Loved our stay at Cabin Beaver! Cannot say enough good things about our stay. We went into the week expecting a great time but this place exceeded all of our expectations. Cabin is very well kept and well stocked with all the essentials. Loved our evening and morning sits over looking the lake listening to the loons and watching the bald eagles. Would highly recommend staying here!"

"We loved our stay at Idle Hour II. Especially all the windows from which we could take in the surroundings. Bar Harbor and Acadia was an easy 45 min drive. Beds (seemed to be the same) were not our favorite for comfort. Everything's was clean and had the amenities we needed. Having 2 camping chairs in the utility room was great - we ate our lunch on Sand Beach in comfort! We would definitely stay again. "
