"Bed wasnt bad, a little hard for my liking. Room was clean and I had a view of the wallace monument right out my window. Getting to the room is a chore as even though it is a newer and large hotel there are no elevators. Good tea selection. Served my needs. When I was leaving one of the workers saw me with all my bags, ran up and took my suitcase for me. That was much appreciated. Food from the restaurant is good. "

"Excellent value for money. We stayed over to break up a longer journey north. Conveniently located just off the main route. We enjoyed the riverside walk with access close to the hotel. The evening meal was good and we particularly enjoyed the cooked breakfast the following morning. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. "Beautiful secluded location. Good spa and gym facilities. We stayed in a self catering lodge, which was spacious and well equipped with excellent views of the loch. Food at the restaurant was nothing special and limited choice. Areas of the property could do with some maintenance, including lighting, overflowing drains, flooded paths. Hotel staff were not the most friendly or efficient, but got the job done- we weren’t even asked if we enjoyed our stay…"

"The location was fantastic, especially if you took a train to Stirling, like I did. It was only about two blocks away. Restaurants were all around, within easy walking distance of the castle. "This is such a lovely hotel and we’ll definitely use it again. From when we first stepped in until we left this morning, we were made to feel welcome. The food is a real treat (haggis bonbons and the fleet iron steak were to die for). The room was a touch of luxury, well stocked with tea and coffee, fresh milk in the fridge and a breakfast in the room. It was all spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. We’ve come away feeling like we’ve been spoilt! "
