"We really liked that we were in the heart of Florence but removed enough to be away from the crowds and the noise. The staff including the owners Leonardo and Francesa were excellent. They were very attentive and helpful throughout our weeklong stay. The room had a comfortable bed big enough for my wife and I, with plenty of space. The decor of the room and bathroom were very nice. We really liked the shower. "

"It felt like motel next to a highway. Reception closes at 7pm so I was a bit rushed to check in quickly. After that the lights are switched off and the hotel basically becomes dark - just like the surroundings. Off season most restaurants are closed. The room was generally clean but there were little blood stains and spots on the bed linen. The duvet was simply covered by bed linen and it did not feel very hygienic.
