"The house is well situated with a few minutes to the river and restaurants. A true gem of a property. As you walk in through the gates, you’re immediately surrounded by tall redwood trees which gives you great privacy to just unwind and relax, either next to the fire pit or the hot tub on the well crafted deck. "We had an amazing time gazing at the trees, listening to the nearby creek, and relaxing in the hot tub. We needed a relaxing getaway and couldn’t have picked a better property for that purpose. Check out and in were straight-forward and easy. Cute, cozy interior with a great wood-burning stove. We had a lovely time and will be happy to come back when we can."

"We had a wonderful Christmas week here. Very convenient location Comfortable for 6 adults. Cooked most of our meals here and had plenty of supplies. It rained while we were here so we did not get to enjoy the decks and outdoor area but it would be so fun when the weather cooperated. Redwoods are amazing!"

"Family of 4 visiting with another couple - perfect setup with the ADU. Beautiful location where we felt secluded in the redwoods but not isolated. Quiet. Both houses were clean. Great suggestion to save directions because our GPS sent us to the wrong place!"

"It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time....

"I chose this property because I liked the rustic look of the place and it fit our needs. It met my expectations. The beds were decently comfortable (foam not spring mattresses), the furnishings are what's to be expected of a property that has been a dedicated rental forever. I liked the local art up on the walls. Every room has a skylight, and that helped us wake up bright and early. The driveway is a little steep, our tires were spinning getting in and out. "We loved the cabin and the hot tub was great. Sleeping under the skylights was special! We would have appreciated the parking pass being left in the cabin for us - so as not to have had to drive to Gualala and back for that after what was already a long drive. And the cabin was 46 degrees F when we arrived! The gas fireplace is lovely but took nearly 6 hours to get us up above 60…. I would recommend during cold weather having the thermostat preset to at least 62 so as to avoid this issue...

"Place was perfect for our needs. Kitchen was modern and well stocked so we did a lot of cooking instead of eating out. Location felt private and safe. Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. We had no issues and everything in the house worked just fine. Place is perfect for one or two couples. The dogs loved the big backyard and I like the fact there was a wire fence to help keep other critters out. We’d definitely come back. "

"We have been coming up to Sea Ranch since 1975 since we live close. Never have we stayed in such a private cove that I could watch the gray whales migrate... from my bed. Only suggestions would be a good reading lamp by the couch and perhaps safety hand bars in the beautiful shower for your ageing guests.We will be back that's for sure. Thank you.
