"Great stay at the Thistle - room very nice. Stayed for one night with family. Very convenient, welcoming reception staff. Considering the price, it represents great value for money. Near the bus and train station as well as shop, bars and restaurants."

"Nice stay 1 night. Easy parking and dining. Only thing I would say is that there is not enough hooks or towel rails to hang towels and there is not enough surface area to put toiletries etc so it's a bit of a juggling act on the bathroom. "

"Stopped here a few times and for an airport hotel, it's one of the better ones. The staff are super friendly and it offers great value for money. The rooms are a little on the cosy side but are well equipped and modern. My only gripe, and this is a personal preference, is that the mattress is too hard and the pillows are not great. One pillow is too low and two pillows is too high. Woke up with a stiff neck and a headache from the pillows. This was sorted out by a lovely hot shower in the modern bathroom. The Rituals toiletries and Dressing Gowns are a nice touch. This is a great hotel with a superb buffet breakfast and I can highly recommend it."
