Front door framed by beautiful lead crystal windows leads to roomy front porch for morning coffee, cuddling on the swing seat with a good book, comfortable chairs for gathering. We watched the full moon come over the hill glittering on the Ohio River both from the porch and a bench at the edge of the river bank. "The house is really really lovely. all historic wood trims, bumped-out reading nooks, beautiful staircase, etc. The location looks super convenient on a map - right on Main Street - but OH the truck traffic! Even all through the night trucks go by. Like all historic houses, this one is right on top of the street, so sleep was not so great. The owner seems very nice, we exchanged a number of messges and she helped me out several times. I only gave communication a "4" because she actually sent...

"This was our third time to stay with Sarah. Always a clean & neat house. Stocked with bottled water, soft drinks, beer, wine, coffee pods dishwasher pods & washing machine pods. Ample supply of clean towels. Needs some more silverware (tea spoons), coffee cups & dishes. Overall a good stay. We will come back again."

"This property was terrible. We arrived to find the house filthy and all the beds unmade. Trash everywhere, food left out on counters, blood in one of the beds. We could not stay here and booked another hotel at 11:00 PM in Pittsburgh. I have never seen such a filthy vacation rental. "
