"Cant say enough lovely things about this amazing home. Beautifully decorated, has everything you need, views that make you run downstairs every morning to see the sunrise. It was so easy to get to everything. Winter offers such a different side of Maine- it was just wonderful! Hosts were so nice about advice. Could not have asked for more!"

"We stayed for one night in this lovely, rustic cottage and wished we had more than one day to enjoy the amenities, which was a fantastic lakeside spot with a dock, fire pit, kayaks, and wrap around deck. The cottage was charming and cozy, with an unusual layout with a loft above the 2nd floor bedroom. The one minor glitch to the trip was having to call Vacasa repeatedly for the access code to the house, which we did not get until we are at the house. "

There were plenty of small towns nearby for shopping and souvenir hunting. On the last day, we went whale watching. The cabin is beautiful and very well maintained. The grounds pristine. "

"My significant other and I had a beautiful stay at this unique cozy cabin! This was our home base while in the area exploring Acadia and we loved starting our day with views of the lake and coming back to enjoy relaxing by the firepit. Everything was as described and it was nice having our own private bathroom a few steps from the main cabin along with access to a washer and dryer to keep our laundry fresh after a week of traveling and camping. "This cottage was a pleasant change from the bustle of Bar Harbor. Although its small and cozy, it had what we needed for a short term stay. Barring a few check-in inconveniences, it was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the firepit that we spent time at after a long Acadia Park hiking adventure."

"I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though"

"Fabulous accommodations - beautiful setting, just steps from the ocean in a quiet, working fishing (lobstering) cove with a trail behind the cabin. The cabin was spotless and truly had everything we might need. The excellent reviews are all true! We only regret that we didn't get to meet our hosts, but hope to go back and try again. In our opinion, the Schoodic peninsula is the best part of Acadia, and this cabin with its wonderful history is worth a return trip."

"This was an awesome getaway! Exactly as described in the listing, and the lake was even bigger than I was expecting. Me and my dog saw only 2 families the entire week, and had plenty of room to hang out and roam around. Thanks!"

"Very cozy and private cabin. The bathroom has amenities that make it feel like a little spa. Outside deck space and fire pit is nice. Lots of different spaces and rooms. It's about 20-30 min to Acadia depending on the traffic. I would recommend this place to anyone, except for someone who has difficulty using stairs. We would go back."

"We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Loon Song Cottage. The cottage has a screened front porch, which you don't see often in vacation rentals. (So many times I have wished that we could keep the front door open, but can't without a screen.) The cottage is nice and new, and very clean. The bedrooms were cozy, the beds were comfortable, the decor was nice. Sara gave us tips on places to eat and visit, which were helpful. "Short two night stay on a girls' trip to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. This was the perfect place for the 3 of us. Well-located, well-appointed, good space and comfy beds. The trail to the beach was a great bonus. I would highly recommend to others looking for a affordable option close to all the amenities but slightly out of the hustle and bustle."
