"We rented this lively home as a place for family to gather to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Such a cozy retreat! The teens had a blast hanging out in the basement, and the adults were able to chat more quietly upstairs. Room for everyone, surrounded by trees, walking distance to the St-Laurence, and a quick drive to old Quebec. Very responsive and kind hosts. Highly recommend."

"The listing indicated 4 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms are normal (in fact very nice), but the other 2 are in a crawl space with a ceiling approximately 42" high. If you look very carefully at the listing photos you can see this; however the listing should make it much more clear that 2 of the bedrooms are not "typical". We were a party of 5 adults, so one person had to stay in a crawl space bedroom, which was not convenient. Would probably be fine for children. Potential guests should also be aware that...

"I enjoyed my stay. Unfortunately we were given the wrong code to enter the building. Then we did not realize we had to ask for a playpen or high chair after we put in that we had a baby under the age of 1.The front driveway doesn’t get plowed. Besides these inconveniences we had a wonderfulTime. The shower was amazing. The fireplace was delightful and we just had an overall fantastic time. It is close to all amenities. Thanks you for allowing us the opportunity to stay at your place. "

"This property is located so centrally, you really don't have to get into your car to have an extraordinary variety of restaurants and activities. The nearby indoor parking lot is close enough that it is convenient, even in a blizzard and it provides wonderful shelter in the coldest weather. Sandy, the host, is a wonderful communicator."

"Lots of rooms accommodated our large group well. Location was good and safe. 5 pm check in time is kind of late compared to other rentals and cleaning staff was still onsite when we arrived. A few issues along the way but nothing that would prevent us from staying again."
