"Overall we enjoyed our stay at Portou House. Our room was on the top floor. There was some hanging space but not a lot of storage other than one drawer. The bed was really comfortable and toiletries and a hairdryer were peovided. The room would benefit from soundproofing as there was a bit of noise from a nearby restaurant, however this did not spoil our stay. The rooms are in a great location. We would definitely return. "

"This place is fantastic. Walkable to old town Chania, grocers and bakery’s super close. Parking was sort of included, only two spots, had to park on street twice but even that was close. Great apartment. Washing machine came in clutch. "

"This villa had the most astounding views! Perched above a rocky outcrop, the sunsets every night were a delight. The expanse of the sea below was magical. The Villa was exactly as described in the listing and Giorgios and Penelope could not have been more welcoming. Their communication with us was faultless and they connected us with a wonderful man named Christos who helped us arrange activities and a chef during our stay. We would most certainly return!"

Lots of parking, good restaurant on site, and really friendly staff who arranged a baby cot and chair well before we checked in! Only thing is the rooms have a slightly dated decor. "I had torn my achilles tendon just before my stay here so accessibility was an issue to some degree. No rooms had ramps or had ground floor accessibility. Other than that, the staff were great, breakfast was fantastic. Lunch was meh, dinner was really nice at the stone restaurant. My family had rented a car so we were a short 20 min drive into old town Chania which was gorgeous. "
