"Lovely setting and very well places for lakes and roads to getting around the Friesland. Rooms are a bit tired and the bathrooms need some TLC. Great staff and good facilities. "

We enjoyed our breakfasts at the hotel and were pleased to discover meals at the nearby brew pub. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and well-appointed. The absolute best though was when we couldn’t get a taxi, reception called the hotel owner who drove us to our next destination - above and beyond good service!!"

"We checked into our room and it was so barebones it was unbelievable. The room was dark, the bedding looked very worn, and there were no pictures on the walls. It was stripped bare of everything. It was so bad we left the hotel and went to Sneek and stayed at another hotel. When we left we told the person at the reception desk we were leaving, and why, and they acted as if they could care less that weren't satisfied with the room. We would really like Orbitz to consider a refund to us as the hotel would do nothing."
